Joy in the Mourning

Where grief meets grace, and broken hearts find healing.

Joy in the Mourning exists to remind grieving hearts that hope is not lost.

In Christ, sorrow and joy can coexist, and healing is possible. This ministry is about creating sacred spaces where women can breathe again, connect deeply, and rise renewed in the presence of God.

The Road We Share

When my daughter Olivia died, my world shattered. I remember whispering, “I don’t know how to go on.”

The first five years were a fog. The next five were survival. And only later did God begin to show me that grief would always be part of me — but it didn’t have to consume me.

That’s why my heart is for women like you. Women who whisper:

  • “The pain is too heavy.”

  • “My family would be better off without me.”

  • “I pushed the grief down, but it’s bubbling up.”

  • “I am scared to love again, knowing they can be taken at any moment.”

I know those words because I’ve spoken them. I’ve lived them. And I know how much it matters to have someone sit with you there, without rushing you through it or offering shallow platitudes.

Through Joy in the Mourning, I walk with women who carry deep loss — not to erase grief, but to honor it, to put the chains down, and to remind you that Christ meets us here.

Because I believe your grief deserves to be seen.

Your story deserves to be honored.

And your spirit deserves to be refreshed.

Sometimes ‘I’m fine’ is just a cover for a weight no one can see.
